Irishguy, I'm with you 100 percent. But I doubt the producers will listen. I think the screenplay is locked in place and everything else is contracted for. I'm guessing the film has to be made or there will be big legal problems. I'd be amazed if they dumped the screenplay and delayed the film.
But in my opinion it's the wrong screenplay and I doubt it will impress most people.

2000AD - the comic which features Dredd - has a fairly small readership so it will continue being published even if the film isn't a success. 2000AD readers - and I am one - endured the first Dredd film so they can endure another 'crappy' one.
