Joint Financial Decisions?

Do you think a couple should make financial decisions together, even if only one of them is working?

I saw this question asked on Divorce Court and I'd like to know what you all think
 
Absolutely. Financial decisions (other than daily purchases and necessities) need to be make as a couple. Even if only one person is working, the marriage needs to be based on teamwork and partnership. If there's a disparity in the decision-making the unequal partner will only become resentful.
 
I think that a couple should be able to make financial decisions together, even if only one of them is working. I think that if the person who is working is making all of the financial decisions the other person will feel like they are being controlled. If they are not in agreement with the finances then maybe they should not be together or should talk about these things before they are married or move in together. If both parties are working they should still be able to make financial decisions together.
