Joint and nerve pain, pins/needles, numbness,

Hi folks,
Okay folks, here are the symptoms: severe low back pain, radiating pain into hips, knees, feet. Muscle twitches and spasms that are constant but not painful. I cannot sit for more than 5 minutes without severe pain in the low back and buttocks. My MRI shows moderate stenosis at C6-C7, but this cannot be the whole story. I also have constant pain in my shoulders, elbow joints, hips, and sharp shooting pains in multiple muscles/nerves that come and go constantly. My legs go to sleep, and my hanRAB have pins/needles. My often feel like they are on the verge of cramping. I have been to rheumatolotists and neurologists but no one can pin-point the condition. Seems to be back-related, but could be neurology/rheumatology. All tests normal. I have always been healthy, clean-living. 47 year-old male. Anyone else out there?
 
My heart and prayers go out to you, Rin. Have you had an MRI done on your lower lurabar spine?
 
Thanks for your concern. I have done a low back MRI but not for some time. I need to do one again. I will ask my current doctor to schedule one for me. Because many of the symptoms are in the thoracic as well, he first did a thoracic MRI. I have been bouncing from one specialist to the next for about four years now.....
 
Rin, the reason I mentioned the lower lurabar spine MRI is because I have a lot of the same symptoms that you have, and the MRI I had done in May 2007 showed problems from L4 down to L5-S1. I had an x-ray done before the MRI that only showed degenerative discs, bone spurs, and annular tears. The MRI went into more details about the problems with my lower lurabar spine.
 
Your lower extremeties symptoms ooze of lower back issues. I am surprised that that haven't done a recent lurabar MRI on you with all of those symptoms. It is sciatica as it sounRAB to me. Once you get that done, please let us know what the report says. Hang in there.
