Joining the military and Going to College at the same time.?

When I'm 18 I plan on going to college as well a joining the marine corp. My question is: What do I do in the corp while I'm in college? I know I don't get sent over-seas during the semester at least but how does it work? And also do I get 4 years of military experience if I join when I start college and finish a four year college term?
 
Why don't you do the ROTC program in college? There are some Marine Corp ROTC programs offered and when you graduate you have both your degree and Officer status.
