I am going to a university this fall and it is either take out loans to cover my EFC (don't have the extra $) or join the guard which pays my in-state tuition and fees, etc. The recruiter said if I leave around early to mid May I will be done w/ training and back in time to attend school this August. Is this true? Not that I don't believe him but I have received a couple different answers. Does anyone know? Thank you.
