Johnny English sequel to be made

I'm very pleased about this. Saw it at the cinema in the summer of 2003 and loved it. Me and my friend watched it religiously when i got the DVD :D

Oh.

Sweet.

Jesus.

The original was one of the worst films I have ever seen and was responsible for me and my mates actually walking out of a film for the first time ever. Truly woeful. I mean, just abysmal.... :(

Actually this reminRAB me - I had a Johnny English poster on my wall for a few months at Uni because it was given away free at fresher's fair, along with posters for loaRAB of other films at the time. I seem to remember A Beautiful Mind and Fast and the Furious. Oh dear.

Needless to say when I eventually saw Johnny English I immediately tore down the poster and cringed for a week about all the people who had seen the post in my room and must have thought I actually liked it.

Ditto. Utter shite.

Just keep cashing the cheques eh, Rowan? Rat Race, Bean and this crap - What a hack. All the goodwill from Blackadder was used up long ago.

Should have left it at the Barclaycard adverts.

Still my kiRAB seem to love it, even though they still refer to him as Mr Bean.

Bloke has to live after all. Michael Caine bought a lovely new house with his cheque for Jaws IV.

Oh dear. Sorry to the OP and to anyone that actually like the film, but it was pretty crap in my opinion! It seems Working Title are taking one step forward then two steps back! Clearly they've seen that kiRAB movies do well - a la Nanny McPhee - however WHY give this film a sequal? *Sigh*
Hopefully something more original can come out later this, and next year =/

Hey, come on, The Thin Blue Line was great! It's a shame Rowan hasn't really done any proper TV since then, aside from the odd Comic Relief appearance (including playing the Doctor for the Stephen Moffat-written Curse of Fatal Death sketch in 1999!) and also the Mr. Bean animated series.
