Well one part of the culture is that the woman is just an object. She has no name and is just referred to as Curley's wife. IDK the page number or quote, you'll have to look that up. Also--you're right--that the guys go to the whore houses and Curley's wife stay home--that's another example of culture. Quote of that--use what she said to ?Lenny? Was it Lenny she said it to? Lenny's the big one right? George is the little one? I think. I can't think of anymore but there's to get you started.

If you have “Of mice and men” by john steinbeck
I need your help.

I’m doing a project for my english 1 class and I have to get 5 examples of culture found in this book. I have to quote the text and leave a page number also.

I really need help because I can’t think of anything.

Is the way they talk culture? what about “whore houses”? or is quoting that innapropriate for school?

Note: This isn’t the entire project. Its a huge project involving summary of plot, how the author reveals characters, figurative lang. in book, and a lot of other stuff. So please don’t say I’m asking for you to do my project because you have no idea how big this project is.

Thank you.

*I have to quote the text EXACTLY.

*I have the book

What exactly is culture? I am trying to find examples of it in the book.
