John Deere Garden Tractor Engine?

I have a GT275 and someone stated the crankshaft is broken. I don't think it is. Here's is what I've got so far:

Spark plug sparks
Piston Moves
FlyWheel Key is fine
Engine Turns Over
There is no compression

What should I do next?

the valve is stuck open probably because the rocker is bent or broken. common on small motors. take off the valve cover and look. usually a plastic piece. check the push rod also. if thats the problem give yourself an extra kick for me!!!!
 
There should be a side cover to access the valve springs & lifters. Remove the cover & check the valve clearance between the lifter & valve stem.
Intake: .007"
Exhaust: .010"
If there is no clearance, then the valves must be removed & grind the end of the valve stem until correct tolerances are obtained. While the valves are out, inspect the valve margin & seat area for cracks or burnt areas.
Inspect the head gasket for breaks or burnt areas.
