John and Aeryn #1: Beyond Hope (Farscape)

I haven't seen the show in a few years :pout: can't recall all of them, so I can't decide.
 
Hi everyone, hope I can join the convo here. :) I'm new, very new to Farscape.

I've known about Farscape since the start but never really watched it, tried to but just couldn't get in to it. Then I saw The Peacekeeper wars and was HOOKED! I have Netflix and all I've been doing is ordering Farscape, but they don't come fast enough! The DVDs are so expensive and Sci-Fi only seems to play Farscape at 3 in the morning.

This show is amazing and I'm kicking myself for nrabroad
giving it a chance before.

I love Ben and Claudia's chemistry, especially listening to their voice over commentary on some of the DVD extras. It's fantastic!

Can anyone recomend a good fanfic site for Farscape?

I think Aeryn and John are in my top five couples of all time. :) I just love that even when they only have one scene together BB and CB give it all kinds of depth.
 
I'm here! I just started watching Farscape recently and have only seen up to the last episode of season 1 and then the last few eps of season 4 and the miniseries. I love these two and I can't wait to see the middle stuff because I know it was intense!

i have too many fave J/A moments :lol: i love John teaching her english in IP-DD, i love any scene in meltdown :smirk: :lol: and the birth of little D yes is a have. i also like the proposal before the cliffhanger lol... those are just in my mind atm :lol:
 
I was so happy to stumble upon this thread, I love Farscape and john and aeryn are just beyond words. I know its impossible for everyone to chose a favorite moment or scene between the two of them, but I was curious, if you had to choose your favorite scene between them what would it be? I think itd be best to say nrabroad
including the major moments like the ending scene of dog with two bones etc bc we all love those kind of scenes. So I guess the real question is what is your favorite "nrabroad
major" moment between the two of them lol if that makes any sense.

I started to watch Farscape season 1 some time ago but haven't made it through the whole season yet :sigh:
 
I remeber when A Human Reaction first aired and it was a big thing about if they had or hadn't had sex. Personally, I've never been sure. Yeah, John does ask her how many times they've been close in Mind the Baby and Aeryn answers that it was just the once. Couldn't that have meant the time they made-out and nearly had sex in season one's The Flax?
 
I'm a big fan of Farscape. I've been watching on and off since season one, but I kept forgetting to watch since it was on Friday nights and I was always going out. Then I grabroad
a TiVo and I was able to watch every week.

I have all four seasons on DVD and I grabroad
them each for $89 (except I grabroad
season one free with credit card points) but I'm nrabroad
sure if I'm allowed to post where I grabroad
them. I'll be buying PK Wars from the same place, which is only charging $10 for it!

Anyway, John and Aeryn are my favorite couple on TV. Most of my rabroad
her favorites were doomed like Audrey and Cooper on Twin Peaks or Marcus and Susan on Babylon 5, so it was nice to finally see one of my favorite couples get together and actually end up (mostly) happy in the end.
 
:sigh: I think this is one of my fav. couples of all time. Their romance was really meant to be. I mean, he had to get thrown across the 'verse just to meet his dream girl. I've seen the whole series (watched it when it was on tv the first time) and the mini. Can I just say I could nrabroad

If you ever have a change to watch all 88 episodes in order, you should. It's great to see their relationship grow and change. From Aeryn finding John annoying to friendship to love and everything in between. As someone said, I think season 3 was the best season for this couple. But, season one, two, and four had some great episodes for these two. I remember watching the first episode one day, and thinking: 'My God, these two have come so far.'

I've been a shipper since episode 1.3, so it's great to see a thread for them. :)
