Jogging/biking with my dog....questions?

Note: This will be put both in the DS, and the fitness section due to there being two topics in this question!

Okay, im 15 years old and about 2 years ago, i got really depressed about my home life, started eating allot, and smoking both tobacco and Pot. Before i was depressed i could run 5k with no problem, and was really really fit and trim. When i moved out of the house, about 1 year ago and went to live with my friends i weighed in at 295lbs, and had a hard time breathing due to the smoking (ended up at almost 2 packs a day, literally) Since living at my friends place ive quit smoking both tobacco and pot, and for the past year and half ive been speed walking with my dog daily. Ive lost about 30lbs, my weight has been very up and down, due to emotions sometimes reaching major highs (anyone who has read my other questions about my mom would know why, she was very verbally and sometimes physically abusive to me and my dogs). Like i said thought i would like to start jogging with my dog, he is a 10 month old male ACD. My dog works cattle for about 4 hours every morning, and chases the quad when going for trail rides with friends, so he is very fit. He is 45lbs of PURE muscle. Even the vet said that is the most muscular dog she has ever seen. He is like a brick. What are some precautions i need to take for my self and my dog? What is a good target time to start with? Im very bad about pushing myself to the point of being totaly exhausted and almost unable to walk. How much weight should i expect to lose, weekly? What do i need to watch my dog for? What are some health benifets for my dog? Is this to much excersie for him my dog? He still has energy after moving all his cattle (about 1500), and quading about an hour. What muscels get built up on BOTH me and my dog? thanks!
Also, my dog does Agility classes once a week, personal protection training(shutzenhund(sp?), and dock dogs. As well as going to the dog park for fun, and the beach with my friends and there dogs. He is an intact male if that makes a difference) He is reg. and i will be taking him to compete.
