Job listings say the unemployed need not apply

Because the credit score is being used to disqualify but is something they should not have access to. A credit score takes a lot more time to change than a haircut.

it is also against the law to use discriminatory hiring practices.

Prove me wrong. I fucking dare you. You think every person who is out of work is simply not qualified or incompetent, when the REAL unemployment rate in this country is estimated to be over 20%

NetApp certs won't really help you if it isn't a NetApp shop. You'd be better getting general SAN (Storage Area Network) experience which includes storage, switches, protocols, etc.

If you go to a business that is EMC storage based, a NetApp cert will look good, but not great as they will want someone who knows EMC.

that is pretty retarded. why would employed people be looking at job listings for an equal or lower position

this is stupider than entry position that requires work experience

Good luck walking into HR at any company and requesting financials as part of your employment agreement.
Especially when you are among the huge nurabers of unemployed/underemployed just looking to make enRAB meet.

Anythings is hard if you have never done it before.

Steve Ballmer would make a shitty janitor on his first couple days, but I bet the marginal productivity gap would be a hell of a lot smaller than if you put a Microsoft janitor in charge of the company.

That show is a corporate PR puff piece and designed to make simpletons feel good about themselves.

i'm not saying that when you apply for a loan or something it shouldn't come up...but if i'm working for a company, the fuck do you care?

this right here is an example of why Americans are losing jobs to foreigners. No one gives a fuck anymore about the American worker, its fucking bullshit.

Also, Taking a 9 dollar an hour bouncing job would be a pay cut of 250 dollars a month from unemployment. And would be 3 dollars an hour less than I was being paid as a bouncer in 2002.

I think the worst part is that companies are so against training and apprenticeships.

They expect everyone to have a degree in the exact thing they need you to do.

Oh, I'm sorry. You don't have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Toilet Bowl Cleaning? Well there is no way you could ever be a janitor.

Living the life right here, going on about 4 months now i think.
Shit drives you crazy, I'm helping my lazyass friend make his entire house/property look better cause I'm getting fat and im to damn bored just sitting doing nothing, want to work again.

I currently have a job but am looking for a new one. If I saw one of these aRAB that said "unemployed need not apply", that just tells me its a shitty place to work and I'm not even going to bother applying.
