Job listings say the unemployed need not apply

Fair enough.

If you set trolling aside, I'm totally interested in your thoughts.

If that's too difficult to do, feel free to PM me the honest replies and troll away.

I went wrong when I started indulging a fucking unemployed foreign idiot who obviously doesn't know a damn thing about the subject, in an argument.

"official" unemployment nurabers don't take into account people that have been unemployed long term and people under employed.

the real unemployment nurabers sit around the mid 20s, which is pretty fucking huge.

god forbid a company want to hire someone thats not lazy.. that'll take a job doing anything besides sitting home and living off everyone else that works hard.. fuck lazy people...

Are certs worthwhile?

Is this a good way to go about it? Just get a cert and start with a vendor?

Good point, you have two identical employees, one has a track record of responsibility and making good choices. The other was a fuck up and recently claims to have got their act together...

Well of course I would choose the latter as my employee.

I dunno what to tell you guys. I know for a fact that NetApp Storage Architects (good ones with experience) are hard to find across the United States. I know 'cause they were calling me left and right (some offering me jobs on the West Coast). You can make GOOD money, especially in contract positions - from $60-80/hr with 2000 billable hours a year; figure $120-160k contract. There are also perm positions that pay that much. The same goes for those that are good in systems/network Security as well.

I dunno what to tell you guys that are hurting for jobs in the IT World...certain fielRAB are better than others.

Service advisor experience = little bit of parts work + sales. Shit is easy to get. May be more difficult for a BMW or rab dealership, though.

I am trying my man, it is just hard when my school is unwilling to help because my GPA isnt stellar. I can however get an internship (that I find myself) for school credit, which I am going to shoot for.
