What is it like to be a cryptologic linguist in the army? Will I ever have to fight or go in the field? I don't really need detailed information as far as the job duty, but will I be working in a contained environment for however much of the day and be able to go back to my home or dorm at the base? I'm asking this because I wonder if someone has a family in this job, would they be able to come back home at the end of the day with their family whether its an on or off base home?
