What exactly did Jimmy Hoffa do to get him in trouble with members of organized crime, leading to his disappearance and murder? What role did he play in labor unions and what was the extent of his power?
 
What he did was wash the money for the mob. The union would buy casino's in vegas for the mob. The loans were repaid and the mob kept the profits. The problem was that Jimmy goes to jail. Nixon pardons him with most of his sentence done. The deal was for the pardon jimmy had to stay away from the union. When he got out and found out he was pissed. He said he was going to tell the world about what really went on. For the mob and the union the best place for jimmy is in a place where he would never speak again.
