Jim Carrey

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (for his best serious performance), The Cable Guy (at his maddest best) and Bruce Almighty is pretty good.

It's got to be Ace Ventura though, both of them. I would love for them to do another one, to catch up with Ace all these years down the line.

Man On The Moon

Followed by The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind

He is a great actor when he does drama, he neeRAB to more of them and less of his over the top comedy

The Truman Show is the only thing I've liked him in, so would have to be that, good film. Everything else I just want him to shut up and stop grinning.

Dumb And Dumber is his funniest.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is his best performance, and his best film, IMO.

The Truman Show and Man In The Moon also have outstanding performances from him.

I hate Ace Ventura and Liar Liar. He is so much better than the endless mugging he does in those.

Me, Myself & Irene isn't too bad, mind.

I really liked him in The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind and Yes Man. I think I prefer him in his more dramatic, serious roles, although he did make me laugh like a loon in Liar Liar.

I'd like to add Bruce Almighty, Dumb and Dumber, the Mask, Man on the Moon and Earth Girls Are Easy (albeit a small role). :D He wasn't too bad in Batman Forever either, probably the only redeeming feature of the film. :o

I watched the first half of Eternal Sunshine a year or so ago and I was just confused by it. Maybe I'll give it another go cos so many people say its awesome.

Anyway, I like Jim Carrey in pretty much any film I've seen him in (apart from Fun With Dick and Jane, which I have erased from my memory :) ). I even loved him hamming it up as the Riddler in Batman Forever!

Dumb and Dumber, Truman Show, and The Mask are my 3 favourite Carrey films I think.

The Truman Show is his best performance for me, and it's an excellent film as well.

Of his comedy movies, I quite like Cable Guy - it was the first movie where he played a slightly creepy, darker character than usual and showed potential for serious acting.

But for sheer laugh out loud, gross humour it would be Me, Myself and Irene...at least the first hour anyway. It kind of runs out of steam after that.
