Jews who keep Kosher and follow the laws: Is the diverse weights thing still in effect?

I know in the Christian Bible it says not to carry diverse weights in the same bag. Is this something you try to follow, and to what extent? Does it include other measures such as measuring spoons, and is having a set of them on a ring something you have to avoid?

I'm just curious... I have no idea if this is even something that really applies to you or not. Educate me?
