Well Roger Clemens have pitched a few seasons for the Yankees.

Randy Johnson and Gaylord Perry each have had brief stints with the Yanks.

The Yanks are more known for home runs, because its a home run ballpark, but i guess they didnt really emphasize on hitting for average as much. Wade Boggs btw played like 4-5 seaons for the pinstripes.

To have a pitcher or batter to reach a high amount of hits or pitches they would have to be there for at least ten years.Also if you look at it many teams don't keep players for 10 or 20 years because they are older and they will not have as many wins or hits.
