yep, but the ceramic coat holds up under excessive heat... actually reduces it to. as far as I know, powder coating is purely aesthetic. cans to come at some point, just didn't want to be without the bike for 3 weeks.

I just sent mine to jet hot should have them back in early next week. One thing I was curious about is how much of an increase there might be in weight? I doubt it would be substantial but would like to know. As for price I got two quotes from two different Jet-hot distributors the first was 400 and the second was only 220 shipped (can you guess which one I went with).

Not aware of any weight increase.
Meanwhile, the heat reduction is not as significant as I'd like. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these -- Thermal Barrier Frame Inserts:
