Jennifer Lopez is no Sue Ellen Ewing

i must admit i was very surprised when i read that Jlo was to play Sue ellen....surely someone a bit older would be better and someone who can act..... :confused:
 
I assume it wouldn't be a 'straight version' but with an unhealthy dose of tongue-in-cheek and self-referential knowingness about itself....which will be insufferable to hardcore Dallas fans not wanting to see an irony-laden half-baked idea.
 
jlo is one of the worse actesses iv ever seen, id say she gets works based on her looks but im not a fan of that as well.
her and Jessica Simpson both make awful music and even worse films, why do they get paid so so much for not alot of talent!

Would you believe that Jennifer Lopez has topped the Billboard singles charts seven times. She has amazing crossover appeal between black, white and Latino audiences.

Jessica Simpson? Eh, everybody loves a dumb blonde.
 
well looks like some people have no taste Jlo is awful, her music is just borgin r'n'b pop which has mass appeal in America but i think the uk have FINALLY woken up to the fact its all balls, so we not have Brit pop/Indie alot, which is alot better then more r'n'd.

all i will ever think of for Jl is Gigli, need i say more, cant act for toffee

I was a huge Dallas fan but this would kill any excitement i had about the film. :cry:

Makes me cringe and slightly nauseous.
 
Now that's a good choice....only thing is that not a big enough name. I reckon producers are going all out for real megastars to revive Dallas on the big screen.
 
Linda Grey had a very nice bubblebutt which is why casting JlO is not such a bad idea. However much like the LinRABay Lohan (and Wonder woman) rumours I think they just want to get people talking about it for now with truth what so ever.
