Jeff Rosato was, until Friday, the counsel to Senator Barbara Boxer at the Environment and Public Works Committee that she chairs. She fired his ass on Friday after he got arrested on child porn charges. Earlier this year, Rosato sent more than 600 child porn images with a detective that he thought was a 13-year-old boy. Strangely, Rosato is the second staffer for a female Democratic West Coast Senator arrested on child porn charges in the last year — the first was Michael McHaney, who worked for Senator Maria Cantwell at the time of his arrest.
