I've loved Jeeps and the "freedom" they come with since last spring break, when my family went on a Jeep offroading trip in Arizona. I'm becoming a more experienced driver and good driving is in my blood, so do you think a 2009-2010 Unlimited would be a good car for me? I understand that they are real offroading vehicles and can be dangerous. Is an X, Sahara, or Rubicon better? And will Automatic and 4x4 change my driving experience in the car? I'd love a burgundy unlimited with black freedom hard top for my birthday- and my parents are considering it! 
Any help/tips? And if a Jeep isn't a good safety/first pick, what's another similar SUV or Jeep I would like? BTW, I live in Georgia, where there's LOTS of happy trails
