Jeep wrangler transfer case?

when i put my 94 wrangler is put in 4wd it dosent work. The front drive shaft spins. but my front whells dont spin. im guessing my transfer case is there a way to diagonose whats wrong with besides takeing it in.........any tips would be help full
 
The 4wd is not working due to green ooze seeping into the gas pedal causing it to erod, Get it looked at by a Jeep magician right away,
 
check the axle disconnect on the top of the front axle tube,check that the hoses are connected properly
 
if the front drive shaft is spinning you might have a broken front axle / wheel joint.
