I am getting ready to purchase a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport and I have a question about the transmission and gas mileage. I am switching from a Chrysler Sebring to this Jeep and I realize there will be quite a difference in gas mileage. My Jeep is a 4.0 6 cylinder Automatic. Is there a difference between the 3 speed transmission and a 4 speed transmission when it comes to gas mileage?
