Ok, i am a previous Jeep owner.
I owned a Jeep Wrangler from 1993 to 2001 and i LOVED IT. Without a doubt it has been my favorite car out of anything i have owned. If you have ever driven a wrangler you will see they drive different than most cars. You can turn them in very tight circles, easy to maneuver around and see out of. Very little blind spots due to the large windows. They do great in the snow and in the mud, i never worried about getting stuck anywhere. Take the top off in the summer and cruise around-you have a instant convertible. How many other 4wd convertibles are on the market today? None, just the Jeep Wrangler.
On the bad side, yes they are gas guzzlers. My Jeep was a previous design and the soft top was noisy, it would kind of flap with the wind speed, causing alot of noise in the car. As the vehicle got older the convertible top developed alot of leaks which caused it to be colder in the winter, around 4-5 years into owning it i invested in a new top and it solved that problem. But the newer models they have redesigned the top all together, so it might not be as bad now. It can kind of get old stepping in and out of a vehicle that sits as high as a truck.
If you are the kind of person who has to have a extremely comfortable car then the Jeep is not for you. If you dont mind something a bit rugged then go for it, you will love it.
Right now im a bit financially strapped, but i made a promise to myself as soon as i get back on my feet im buying myself another Jeep Wrangler.
