I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ 2003. OK, summer time is finally here... i have come to the conclusion that im gonna keep the soft top on but take off the back window and side windows off of the soft top (leaving just the top). Now i am ready to take the doors off and i have the clips for the dome lights and everything but i am scared about the rain.... the back already gets drenched when it rains even with the softtop on... if i take off the doors the interior will get drenched! I dont mind being a little wet, but will it harm the interior? (seats, dashboard, carpet) ??.... What do you other Jeep owners do when it poors out and u have to top and doors? THANKS IN ADVANCED!

Most jeeps are made to allow water in the interior. They tend to dry out very quickly, and/or have vinyl seats that you can dry the water off with a towel. We take the top of our jeep of very frequently to go to the river or for the summer time. If you don't want to wait for the wet carpet to dry use a wet/dry vac and vac the floors. We also carry the doors with us in the back in case it starts raining we can put the top and doors back on.
