Jeep wouldn't turn over?

I went to go to school this morning and my jeep wouldn't start. No lights, not even a crank, NOTHING! can you give me some ideas?
I beleive its the battery, but wouldn't you have some gauges work along with your lights? its like it has no battery hooked up to it. Could it of died over night?
 
I assume you used the key and all that starting stuff first? Then, it's the battery. Yes, your battery is dead. Sorry.
