jeep transmission line?

Jeep cherokee 4.0L inline six.is there a vacume line from above the bell housing.I have a rubber line that turns to a hard line coming up the firewall from trans.could it be to the vacume canister.it won't reach anywhere else.its not an oil cooler line.have those connected to rad
