Jeep Patriot - anyone have any info?

Because of our work my wife and I need to get a second hand 4x4, I don't want one of the really big ones, just a smaller type. The most practical looking seems to be the Jeep Patriot because it's not very pretty but very boxy and square - does anyone have any good or bad experiences with them?
 
I'm the shop foreman at a jeep dealership.
Despite the fact that most of us find them ugly the Patriot has proved to be a mostly trouble free vehicle since introduction. We rarely see them in the shop except for routine maintenance. So if you dont mind the boxy shape and you can find a clean one with reasonably low miles it might fit your need just right.
