Jeep Liberty or Ford Escape?

You'll always wish you had a real Jeep. I went through no less than 4 compact SUV's before I finally bought my Jeep Cherokee. It may not be new, but it's the best and most fun vehicle I have ever owned. The Jeep subculture is pretty cool if you want to get into it, which is a lot of the appeal.
 
I have a choice between a brand new white 2009 Jeep Liberty or a 2008 Ford Escape in red or silver with 30000 miles on it? What would be the better choice? Im a guy
