I just got back from test driving a used 2001 grand cherokee. The guy told me he took in to the shop and the mechanic told him he had a bad oxygen sensor. the guy is selling it as is cause he doesn't want to spend the money to get it fixed. When I started the jeep the engine sounded loud and with my foot to the floor it would not accelerate, i continued driving it and after a while it accelerated fine. could that be because of the oxygen sensor?
