Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8 or 5.7L V8 Hemi?

I'm looking to buy a used '06-'09 jeep grand cherokee and i'm not sure whether to buy the normal V8 4.7L engine or get the 5.7L V8 Hemi engine. I would want the power that the hemi has but i'm not sure if its worth the extra cash. Also if someone could tell me the pros and cons of this HEMI engine, like i heard that a hemi isn't great at accelerating but once it hits about 60 MPH it takes off, any truth to this?
 
I have the 4.7L GC and it has plenty of power, and it gets about 20mpg.
