Jeep Grand Cherokee 1995?

I was looking at purchasing this car for a first car. Does anybody know about how many miles jeeps will run? Is this a safe car? What is the estimated life span and such? Any information about this vehicle would currently be helpful, thanks!
 
The price is pretty fair, however, it's almost 200K miles!

This would a vehicle that would definitely cost more to keep running than it's actually worth. I would definitely keep looking.
 
its too much. the 4.0 l6 will last a long time. we had a 95 grand cherokee 4x4 4.0 l6 190,000miles the interior and exterior were flawless no rust on the body we owned it since almost new (1,500miles on it when we bought it) it was kept in a heated garage all its life. regular maintenance we let it go for 1,200. that was 400.00 more than they were going to give us for trade in.
 
i have a 94' Cherokee with 230k on it,it still runs GREAT,plus they aren't to bad to work on. As long as you take care of it,and it doesn't have any major problems to begin with...I say go for it,cant go wrong with a jeep.
