Once I was driving on the highway about 75 mph. and suddenly I felt that the car was slowing down. The car stopped and I couldn't start the car anymore. The gas tank was half full. I already changed the Spark plugs, wires, ignition cap & rotor, and fuel filter, but still the engine rotates and the car will not start. What is the problem ? Maybe: Fuel pump, Fault in the injection system or something else, what ? If you know the answer to the problem please answer.THANKS

Check for fuel pressure at the release valve located near the intake manifold. There should be some while the engine is cranking for the first three seconds.Listen for the fuel pump for three seconds when the ignition is first turned on.

Check for spark.I recently worked on a dead 4.0 with a bad crankshaft position sensor that shut down the ignition.

2 things to check. check to see if the fuel is reaching the engine and check for spark at the plugs. it could be the gas filter clogged up or the fuel pump went out or it could be something like the module went out. you can check the fuel pump 2 different ways. 1 way is take the fuel line off the filter and turn the key on to see if fuel is flowing and 2 you can test it on the fuel rail under the hood.it might even be a blown pump fuse too.
