1997 Blue Jeep Wrangler Sport 150,000 miles on it. Hard top with Winch and Tow Package with a 3 inch lift and 33 inch tires.

The car looks great but im worried about the mileage. Seems like alot of wranglers have to get new engines, and this one hasnt had one. I dont know if this is a good deal or not, I dont want to buy it then fork out more money, Any help would be great, thanks!

Hopefully, this is the straight six and NOT the GM 2.5 four cylinder. IF this were MY car, I would get the engine de-sludged and get Mobil One oil into it ASAP. Also, have a qualified technician evaluate the suspension, brakes, and engine ancillaries. See about rust issues. Tune-up the fuel injection system and GO, GO, GO!!!

It's entirely dependant on how the engine was built, maintained, and driven. Have a mechanic check the engine over and if you pay him, have him write his findings in INK. There are ways to tell if its in good condition and what kind of maintenance it needs.
