I want to buy a jeep cherokee and I found one in my price range with around 147,000 miles. Its a 1989 Jeep Cherokee. Previous owner says it runs great, etc etc. How many miles are too many miles?
I used to own a '96 Cherokee. I loved it, it ran great. I won't buy anything but a Jeep (now have a Wrangler). Unfortunately, it had a faulty heater motor which caught fire and totaled it in '07. If not for that I'm sure I would still be driving it! When it was totaled it had 250,000 miles or more and was still in great shape. Good luck to you!
