Jeep Cherokee radio problems!! shorting out?!?

I just installed an aftermarket receiver and everything is connected right and tight. The sound comes on but when the voume is turned up or just at random times all the lights will flash. it has the factory infinity gold system and the factory amp is working and everything i just need to know why the lights are flashing due to the radio??
 
weak or corroded connection some ware......maybe at the fuse??? check to see if fuse is half burned or connection is corroded.....also adding an extra ground to the radio never hurts....good luck
