I am looking to add 33" a/t tires on my '99 xj and want to know if my stock 3.55 gears will kill my mpg a whole lot. Or should I just eat the cost and upgrade to 4.10 gears.
I own a 99 jgcl and you can run 33's with the 3.55's but they will eat away at the gas mileage..... upgrading to 4.11's will just make it easier to drive, and may actually give you better gas mileage instead of lugging those 33's around.
