Jeep cherokee buzzer sounding constantly.?

I have bought a 1998 Jeep cherokee XJ, 2.5TD. I ran my GF home tonight, and on the way stopped at a shop. I went in, left the car unlocked, took the key in with me. When I got back in my GF told me a buzzer had started after I got out. It now stays on when the ignition is off, with the key out, and even when the car is locked. It only stops when the ignition is on, or when the engine is running. It isn't the door/lights warning chime. It is high pitched, loud, and constant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
