am trying to buy a car and I so want a Jeep but i`ve noticed that all of their cars are sports utility....so i was wondering if they are desined for specific reasons or if anyone can drive them...anytime and anywhere...or are they made for sport related things??are they stick shifts????automatic or wat??? I just wanted to find out before i go to a dealer.

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I purchased it in 2004 and it was in great condition. It is an automatic, fully loaded with all of the extras. I drive a lot and have put nearly 100,000 miles on it since I bought it. I love my Jeep and hope to purchase another. They are very pricey so I will probably buy used again, but they are worth the money and they don't seem to lose their value.

We had one and a friend had one..Was a waste of money..They seem to have lots of electrical problems after a few yrs..Both of us had problem after problem and it could never get fixed..I wouldn't recommend em.

The wrangler is still the top of the jeep tree. Don't expect good gas mileage out of them and the thing is in no means a sports car. But off road you will get instant respect over(those other guys).
Despite what most people say the Wrangler is the only real off road performer out of the box.
I'm not saying the others can not be upgraded just that if you take one off road in real off road conditions you may loose or break something.

Go to this site look at the different models and watch a few videos.

Then I recommend going to this site to get some real world reactions/issues on what works and what doesn't
