JEEP/BUICK: Repair or Trade in?

I have a 99 Jeep Cheroke Sport. The AC doesn't work. The passenger side electric window is off the track. I was rear-ended...so, the bupper is dented in. When I had a break-in, the left rear passenger window frame is messed up. It has aprox 107204 miles.
My question is: should I bother having some or all of these things fixed? I would like to buy a 09 or 10 JEEP LIBERTY. I'm just thinking, should I just use it "as is" as a trade-in or have some of the stuff fixed up. Anyone got any clues????
I also have a 98 Buick LeSabre that needs a new transmission, aprox 407106 miles. I would also like to use this vehicle as a second trade in for the Jeep Liberty.
Any ideas as to how I should move forward with this???

Easy answer forget either or both cars as a trade, because they are worthless as a trade fixed up or not. No dealer will offer money, unless it's inflated on the other end in the purchase price. Best suggestion I can give is to sell both as is for parts, or fixer uppers privately. Make sure you add a disclaimer to the bill of sale stating clearly both cars sold "as is and void of any warranty by the seller" for legal protection ok good luck

Frankly, the dealer isn't going to want either of them. Your best bet is just to fix the window track on the Sport, and see if you can sell it yourself.

If the LeSabre does have over 407,000 miles on it, and it's not simply a typo, it's junk, especially if the trans is bad. Take it to the scrap yard.

If it has 40,710 miles on it, it may be worth a transmission, see if you can pick up a good used one, and you and a couple of friends can put it in. Then you can sell it.

P.S. Consumer Reports has never liked any Chrysler product, that's a well known fact that goes back many years.

The Buick will be worth zero. Put a sign on it and sell it for whatever you can -- like $50. The Jeep may be worth fixing up, but as Chrysler is still technically a bankrupt entity, it won't be worth much either. My advice would be to NOT get another Jeep product, as they are probably the worst SUV you can buy, unless you drive off-road regularly. Terrible gas mileage, bad reliability, and lousy re-sale value. Don't believe me? Go check Consumer Reports. Buy a Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV or even a Ford Escape, but not another Jeep. Good luck.
