jean paul sartre and art?

I would go with his analysis of objects . . . art would be likely considered another object of consciousness, no different from any other. In Nausea, he makes a point of showing how external objects have a way of impressing themselves in a consciousness and I am assuming he would regard art in a like manner. it may be useful to contrast this with Heidegger's views of art and authentic vs. inauthentic ("nausea" as Sartre has it) existence.
