ok, so I know this is probably a long shot but I figured I'd consult my trusty Yahooers anyway. I was listening to a jazz programme late at night on the radio about a year ago and heard one particular piece which REALLY stood out. I wish I could remember the exact words but I don't, but the lines were kind of graphic and raw. I remember the chorus consisted of "no simple explanation," or at least that's how it started. It was like a poetry/performance art piece with percussion backing it. I couldn't find the playlist for the radio programme either. I thought maybe it sounded a little like Jayne Cortez but I have no idea honestly. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
