Jazz Crew v. John Coltrane

I have noticed in "You're a Weaver of Dreams", when you get to about 3:00, John gets off the horn, and a piano takes over. If you listen carefully, it sounRAB like someone is going "zee zee zee zoo zoo zoo..." in the background. What they heck is going on? Is this John just gettin jazzy or what? Anybody ever noticed this?

I would expect it is just John gettin "jazzy" as many jazz players tend to make funny or odd noises as they really get into a song, this is especially true of piano players because their not using their lungs/mouth on a trumpet or sax etc.
