Lucky I'm about a 3rd in so I've barely scratched the surface. But I hate her treatment of Jon Snow :rant: I'm enjoying the POV's from different characters, especially Tyrion. He intrigues me. Because I think he and Jon have so many parallel emotions from different/yet similar issues. I was so worried it wouldbe difficult to read - like Tolkien for example. But I'm relieved to find it engrossing and very vividly written :nod:
 
"You could see her liver", I'd totally hang out with the wardrobe girl. She seems fun. And yeah, you can see a lot of Tara in the way she dresses.

Naz, it was the commentary for Balm where Maggie was talking about changing up Tara's wardrobe. And the way she thought Tara would even over think the way she dressed.

Sometimes Tara's wardrobe is hit or miss. Like, the top she wore when they shot up Ima's car, that thing was just ill fitting and ugly. Other times it doesn't really bother me. I could see why they would cover her up, though. Pediatric surgeon in a small town. I think it would be a little disconcerting to see your kid's doctor at the local grocery store with her boobs hanging out. That corduroy jacket really is a staple of her wardrobe though.

Apparently Tara has a 'hippy vibe' to her. This was the video I was mentioning before. I see a lot of Tara in her (Kelli), the visible bra straps, the tank tops, the jewellery etc...
Though I don't know if that was intentional.

thanx for the new thread...wow u guys blasted through the last really fast. pretty icons. liked the new posters for season4 im in agreement wish there was more jax/tara and i don't really care for juice's mustache.

todays my birthday :D all these icons were awesome!
 
Do you think we would have such a hateful feeling towarRAB any woman Jax was with - other than Tara - or is it just because Ima was in porn, thats kinda shady and dodge (even if you are pro choice ito a womans profession). I wonder if Jax had slept with some regular Annie.. whether we would hate her as much.

I guess i dont HATE Ima. I just loathe that she was persuing Jax for purely almost trophey reasons. Like, "Hey, im banging the samcro VP. Im the ****". And her treatment of Tara pissed me off. Why Jax even went into "we've talked about this" mode when Ima was clearly treating Tara like a piece of dog meat still rubs me the wrong way.

But Ima is pretty much a 2D character. If even that. We dont know much about her, nor do i particularly wish to. BUt herhaps knowing more about her might have made it easier to understand her.. if not like her.

Oh Lawd guys. I think we need to stop this line of thought. Im getting worked up again. I need to watch that Appisode :gone:
 
[sp]Im trying not to overthink it. When we heard engagement and wedding, we knew who the wedding was. So im going to assume we know who the engaged couple will be. Its a huge spoiler and i dont think it would have been leaked if it wasnt a significant meraber of the cast. I believe Jax has spent his time in prison thinking soley of the woman in his life and their family. I think he wants to bind Tara to him for selfish reasons, but also because i think FINALLY Jax is ready to settle down. And its no longer an issue, its just a fact. They have two kiRAB. I can see him wanting to make sure she has nowhere to go, but whereever he goes.

On top of that, any OTHER couple getting engaged will be a minor character. And frankly, anyone else tying the knot at this point who ISNT Jax and Tara will just fill me with all kiRAB of rage. I mean, Opie is getting married! Opie whose wife was killed in such a traumatic fashion. He is commiting again. Jax better as hell be the one stepping up too :lol:[/sp]

Exactly Lucky. It just pisses me off. What did they expect a pregnant woman to do after watching the guy kill someone and then hold a knife to the baby? Logically, don't people realise that her first priority would be to make sure he didn't harm Abel. Doing what you're told is the only way to ensure that. She did exactly what you're supposed to do when faced with a dangerous person with a weapon - whatever they tell you to.
