[sp] Makes sense. I just googled pediatric neurosurgeon fellowships, and they last a year. It's not out the realm of possibility that Tara took Abel once she was awarded custody, and headed for U of A.
Although I would think Tara would want time away from Charming and Gemma to reflect, and put herself in a position to have another Plan B in case things don't work out.
Katey saying the babies coming home had to be referencing Abel and Thomas because she followed with the guys come home. Gemma calls everyone baby, but she has never referred to SAMCRO as "the babies".

[sp] This wouldn't be the first time they were inconsistent with dates. They messed up last year in S3 with Trinity and Jax's ages. It was also hard to determine Abel's age in S2 and S3, how long Donna had been dead, etc.
The writers have a tendency to spin or re-write history to fit their current writing agenda. Ex: Cherry being in Ireland instead of Canada.
"Right, right," Stahl said. "You graduated UCS with honors, you were the top of the class at Loyola Med and you did your internship at Chicago Presbyterian. Really, very impressive," Stahl said condescendingly.
I don't see where the University of Arizona fellowship fits in unless it's something they just decided to toss that in. Tara left Chicago Presbyterian during presumably her residency. It's internship, residency (6-7 years), and then fellowship.
How can she do a fellowship when she hasn't completed her residency is beyond me?
19+ 4 years of college = 23 years old + 4 years of medical school= 27 years old + 1 year internship = 28 + 2 years of residency = 30 years old in S1. It's only another 2 years at most in her residency by S4. Tara should be 31/32, and would have to be at least 34 before doing a fellowship.
It's interesting they insinuate Tara did a fellowship at U of Ariz. in Tucson where the Arizona charter of SOA is located. I wonder if it's connected. [/sp]
