Jaws in HD on Sky, when we getting a Blu-Ray?

I've just sat and watched and enjoyed very much, Jaws in HD on Sky. Part of this weekenRAB Anytime offerings. Really surprised by how good the film looked in HD for its age.

Certainly in comparison to the other movie offering Jurassic Park, it looked the better film. The special effects in Jurassic Park looked very shoddy in the HD Upgrade. At least the plastic shark was there in the scenes.

So now I wonder when this film will get its Blu-Ray release? It celebrates its 35th anniversary this year I do belive. Plus theres a big movement on the net to get this new 3 hour documentary "The Shark is Still Working" released. I think Universal need to put the two together and Blu-Ray them as the ultimate Jaws package.

JAWS is such a great movie. Compared to Jurassic Park it blows it out of the water. Robert Shaw's fantastic death is still one of the most brilliant and shocking death scenes in any film ever, IMO.

Not sure about Jaws, but Jurassic Park's HD presentation was just the SD version upscaled to 1080i. There is no 1080p version of Jurassic Park out anywhere - and trust me, when there is, it will be making its debut on Blu-ray first, then television.
