Java

Do you have Java programs you know will run on your T3? Do you want to spend $6? if the answer is yes, then the download will be of value. Generally, very few people without some specific corporate requirements need it.

I would and in fact, I have an opportunity right now to purchase a Life Drive but....

1) The reviews for the Life Drive have not been out of this world.

2) Reviews for the T5 and T3 (while similar) seem to give the T3 the edge.

3) The T3 requires little chnage as far as cradles, chargers, other accessories, etc....

Any words of wisdom before I make the "plunge"?

Cheers,

Syno

What does buying a Life Drive or T3 have to do with using a Java application?

The Life Drive is a completely different beast than a T3. The T3 is the last of the traditional Palms and the Life Drive is the first of what will likely become the new standard for Palms. If you like to be on the cutting edge and do a lot of tweaking, get a Life Drive. Otherwise, get a T3.

Yeah,

Sorry actually posted that to the wrong place ....

Thanks for the info. though.

Meant to ask one more thing about the Java "MicroSphere" here.........

Palmone sent me a copy to download. Question is: does it require a registration number? I thought it was $6.00? I see no link for purchase of the app. on Palmone though???? They say at the software connection but I don't see it there?

Cheers,

Syno

You've got me. It says it's on the software connection but I don't see it there either. If Palm sent it to you, just use is and see what happens.
