How can you go about and figure which you have. I want to upload games, and from reading its near impossible to do with Brew...so how could you distinguish which system you have?
 
Your phone will have a Brew directory if it is Brew enabled. Just look at it with BitPim or some other software.

According to my Google search, if you are Bell Mobility as your profile says, you do not have Brew, so you should be able to upload games to it easily.
