Java apps starting to malfunction on my Nokia 6682 - advice?

So, recently, some programs have started to not work on my phone (a Nokia 6682). These are programs that used to work fine, but now when I try to load them, the program title briefly flashes on top like it is loading, and then they quit out of the program.

So far the ones I have discovered to be malfunctioning are:

-jdictionary
-opera mini (this works, but the yahoo search/web address/wikipedia fields on the home page cause it to exit)...it can still look up bookmarks, etc. or do a google/yahoo search from a bookmark
-devchart (this is a small java app which has developing times for a lot of b+w films and developers)

Has this happened to anyone? The common denominator on these apps is that they are Java - I haven't found any symbian files which stopped working yet. However most of my Java programs still run fine.

Does anyone have advice on what I might try to do or look at? I don't want to flash my phone or reformat my memory card, really...I have a lot of stuff on there (which may be the source of the problem).

I tried a virus scan and didn't find anything.

I appreciate greatly any help or suggestions...I'm at a loss.

Uninstall the java apps and reinstall them?

Thanks, I forgot to say in original post - I tried uninstalling then re-installing these programs. No luck.

Problem solved, it seems.

After I ejected my memory card forcing it to reload built-in theme, etc. and then put it back in - everything works again.

Strange, eh? Now I know what to try first...
