So has anyone bought the two Pretender movies on dvd yet? I hope to get them soon. :)

I sadly never get to watch the pretender movies since I don't get TNT, but it would be awesome if there was another one, I hope they put the movies on dvd too, since I have the series dvds that are out already.
 
Oh that would be great! :yay: I hope Andrea (was that her first name?) Parker will be in it too!
 
Pretender To Pretend Again?

Steven Long Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle, who created the 1990s NBC SF series The Pretender, told SCI FI Wire that they want to resurrect the show in a new digital medium.

"We created the show The Pretender, and we're working on bringing that back in a whole new form, in a digital form and in a digital platform," Mitchell said in an interview while promoting his SCI FI Channel miniseries Tin Man, which he and Van Sickle co-wrote and co-executive-produced.

Van Sickle hinted that the new Pretender could also feature original star Michael T. Weiss, who played Jarod, a man whose ability to assume other people's identities allowed him to assist those in need. The Pretender aired from 1996-2000 and also spawned two 2001 telemovies.

"We had breakfast with Michael today," Van Sickle said last week. "He just finished up a play out here in New York. I guess kind of the best thing we can say is that we have a timetable of within, hopefully, the next five or six months that we can have something really unique and different out there."

Yup it's good news at last. The second movie was very good but we need an ending for the show, another season or more tv movies i don't care which one i just want an ending.
 
Good points, it would be very interesting to see how things would be run if for sure Mr Parker was dead. Although it wouldn't suprise to me to see him pop up again, having faked his death or something.

Miss Parker i'm not sure, i think she might have more of a reason to want to leave, she and Jarod got close on the island, along with the final talk she had with her father, i think might help her along.

I just want a third movie. :pout: It would be so great.

I really have to get around to buying season 4 on dvd too.

Yeah i heard about that. I'm still very hopeful for the third movie though. :)

I just want Miss P and Jarod to finish the kiss they started. Or at least have to deal with it.

Although i did read that there was a kiss in the movie but it got cut out. It was at the end when it looked like Jarod might not be able to land the plane, and they shared a kiss. If we don't get a third movie and the dvd comes out for IOTH i'd love to see that in the deleted scenes.

Love them so much! My favorite couple ever, and that's saying a lot. But I've never given up hope for those two.
 
They said if the movie project didn't work out they would have putted online the script for the last movie so the fans could know how the end would have been.. since the script is not been relased on the net we can still hope for the third movie
